About Vizuals

Vizuals documents the commerce problems that are genuinely hard to solve well on Shopify, and how real stores have solved them. Every entry pairs annotated screenshots with the part most references leave out: whether the store bought an app, hacked the theme, or built it properly, and where each of those choices breaks.

It is published by Capaxe Labs, a systems engineering studio working with Shopify brands that have outgrown themes, apps and quick fixes. The library exists because the questions clients ask us are the questions nobody has written down honestly.

Screenshots and attribution

Screenshots are captured from publicly accessible pages and reproduced here for commentary and analysis, alongside original written criticism. Every capture is attributed to its source store, linked, and date-stamped, and captures are refreshed on a rolling basis so that what you see reflects what is live.

We do not publish anything that functions as a copyable template of another company's storefront, and we do not reproduce paywalled, authenticated, or checkout-internal pages. If you own a store featured here and would like a capture removed, write to us and we will take it down within 48 hours, no argument and no questions.

Corrections

If a build-method attribution is wrong — we have called something a custom build when it is an app, or vice versa — tell us. Accuracy on that point is the only reason this site is worth reading.
